LOWVILLE/BRANTINGHAM – Lettie “Marilyn” Graves, 87, formerly of Brantingham, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at  home with her family by her side.

She was born February 15, 1937 at home in Greig, N.Y., to Glenn William and Mary Elnora Beyea Tucker and attended General Martin School, Glenfield.  On September 25, 1954, she married Richard T. Graves at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glenfied with Rev. Francis Desrosiers officiaiting.  Marilyn raised her family and together with her husband, owned and operated the Cat’s Paw Hotel in Brantingham, N.Y. for seven years.  They built a beautiful home on Brantingham Lake and enjoyed many family times there, and her most important job was always being a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma.

She leaves behind her children, a daughter Vicky Widmeyer, her husband Rick; daughter, Sherry Herman, her husband Mike; son, Richard Jr., his wife Kirsten; daughter, Lori Gillen, her husband Pat; son Robert, his wife Cynthia; 18 great-grandchildren, and one on the way; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Ann Tucker; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard T. Graves; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Tucker; Douglas and Sue Tucker.

A Calling hour will be held from 11:00 a.m. - Noon on Saturday April 13, 2024 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville with the funeral service at Noon at the funeral home with Deacon Ron Gingerich officiating.  A graveside service at Brantingham Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral service. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY  13367.
