Sports Review 1/13/20

High School Varsity Basketball:
-Carthage girls lost to Fulton 54-26.
-Holland Patent girls fell short against Mount Markham 52-47.
-Lowville girls beat Massena 55-40.
-Old Forge boys lost a hear-breaker against Lisbon 48-45.
-Remsen boys lost to Richfield Springs 59-42.

NBA:
-The Knicks won a thriller against the Heat 124-121.
-The Nets took victory away from the Hawks 108-86.

Syracuse Orange Basketball: The Orange took down the mighty Virginia Cavaliers in overtime Saturday afternoon 63-55. The next game is this Wednesday in the Carrier Dome against Virginia Tech.

NFL NFC Divisional Playoffs:
-The 49’ers beat the Vikings 27-10.
-The Packers topped the Seahawks 28-23.
-The Packers will take on the 49’ers this Sunday for the NFC Championship.

NFL AFC Divisional Playoffs:
-The Titans defeated the Ravens 28-12.
-The Chiefs fought back and clobbered the Texans 51-31.
-The Titans and Chiefs will rumble this Sunday for the AFC Championship.  

Utica Comets Hockey: The Comets took a beating from the Belleville Senators Saturday night 4-0. This Wednesday, the team is back in action at the Adirondack Bank Center against the Hartford Wolf Pack.

NHL:
-The Sabres slammed the Red Wings 5-1.
-The Penguins edged the Coyotes 4-3.
