North Country man accused of assault, Troopers say

WILNA- A domestic incident over the weekend in the town of Wilna led to the arrest of a West Carthage, NY man, according to the New York State Police.

Shortly before 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Troopers from the Carthage Barracks charged Ryan J. West, 39, with one misdemeanor count of assault in the third-degree, according to information retrieved from the daily blotter.

The State Police said an alleged incident was reported to them on Saturday at shortly before 2:45 p.m.

At press time, police said Mr. West was released on his own recognizance.

There were no further details regarding this case from the State Police.
