The accident happened between Struen Road and Stokes Road shortly before 12:30 noontime, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities clarified that there were no injuries suffered in this accident, however; the pole was damaged enough for National Grid to respond.

According to authorities, National Grid was unable to replace the pole right away amidst an obstruction in the ground.

An additional resource was called to assist with the process.

As of 7:30 a.m. this morning, the Sheriff's Office told us that the rodway since has re-opened.
