Turin- A 16-year-old teenage boy was taken into police custody Friday afternoon for allegedly selling a tobacco product to another underage youth.
According to Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies, the suspect’s name was not released (age/youthful offender status) and was charged with 2nd-degree Unlawfully Dealing with a Child, a Class “B” Misdemeanor. Police said the tobacco was sold to a 14-year-old in the town of Turin on September 25.
The 16-year-old suspect was released on an appearance ticket. No other information was available. *The suspect’s hometown was not listed in the report.
