-Adirondack boys suffered defeat against Holland Patent 66-29.
-Adirondack girls edged Utica-Notre Dame 49-47.
-Beaver River boys fell short to Copenhagen 71-61.
-Poland boys took a loss from Frankfort Schuyler 90-24.
-Poland girls defeated Richfield Springs 58-51.

NBA:
-The Nets fell to the Mavericks 123-111.

Utica Comets Hockey: The Comets are back in action tonight for their first game of 2020. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. in the Adirondack Bank Center, featuring a showdown against the Springfield Thunderbirds.

NHL:
-The Bruins fell one short to the Blue Jackets 2-1.
-The Sabres edged the Oilers 3-2.
-The Islanders lost a close battle with the Devils 2-1.
-The Senators lost to the Panthers 6-3.
-The Rangers accepted a close defeat from the Flames 4-3.
-The Penguins were gobbled up by the Sharks 3-2.
