Port Leyden man allegedly violates order of protection

INLET- Police say a Port Leyden, NY man is accused of violating an order of protection in the southern Adirondacks.

Michael J. Gaither, 45, was arrested on December 15 on a charge of criminal contempt in the 1st-degree, according to the Town of Inlet Police. Gaither is accused of violating an order of protection, according to results from an investigation by the Town of Inlet Police.

He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. Police provided no additional details in their report.
