Lowville teen charged with disseminating indecent material and endangering the welfare of a child

Town of West Turin- Police are reporting a Lowville, NY teenager is accused of sending indecent material to a minor in West Turin.

The incident was initially reported this past fall on October 12. At around 3:40 p.m. Thursday, the State Police from Lowville arrested the 17-year-old male suspect, whose name was not provided due to his age/youthful offender status.

He was charged with one felony count of disseminating indecent material to a minor in the 2nd-degree and one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

The teenage suspect was issued with appearance tickets and no additional details were included from authorities.
