Lowville man will go to prison for selling heroin and fentanyl

LEWIS COUNTY- A Lowville, NY man received his sentence Friday in Lewis County Court for selling drugs.

In the latest updates from WWNY-TV, Jacob Farney, 29, will spend eight-years in prison, which will include a Willard mandate. In other words, he will receive drug rehabilitation treatment.

Farney admitted to the court that he sold heroin and fentanyl.

He pleaded guilty to criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd-dergee last month.

Nearly one-year-ago, he was accused of selling the drugs in the Town of Watson.

In addition, Farney also received three-years of post-release probation to his sentence.
