Beaver Falls Man Facing Felony Contempt Charge

TOWN OF CROGHAN-January 11, 2019.  A 33 year old Beaver Falls man was arrested Saturday after an investigation into a domestic dispute in the Town of Croghan.

Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies report that Christopher M. Hemberger reportedly got into a physical altercation with his wife early Saturday morning. There had been a stay away order of protection in place. Hemberger was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree, a Class E Felony and Harassment in the 2nd degree. He was transported to the public safety Building where he was processed, then was arraigned in the Town of Watson Court and remanded on $750 cash.
