George Capron
George
Capron, a North Country Institution, has worked with the radio stations
for over 40 years.. George entertains his listeners with a blend of
traditional and modern country music as well as interesting tid bits about
life in the North Country. George lets his listeners know when the first
robin appears in the area, where the latest moose has been sighted, where
the latest flock of geese is headed. He also informs us about weather
history with over 25 years of Weather Records from Boonville. There is
hardly a person in the Boonville area who hasn't had his or her birthday or
wedding anniversary announced by George. George's Tid Bits can also be seen
weekly in the Boonville Herald.

fun, fresh, and enjoyable listening! Remember, your call is important to
us at The Moose; Lost animals, requests - whatever it is, don't hesitate

Joyce
Jefferson
I'm more of a Zookeeper than a Mom! With a
husband, a teenage daughter, 6yr old twin girls, three cats, a rat,
occasional exotic pets, and a Chihuahua, we should have our own show on
Animal Planet! We recently ditched the pets (but kept the hubby) for a
vacation at Disney World. I highly recommend renting a stroller. They get
so TIRED and WHINY... husbands! The kids get cranky too. I might have
hubby push me around in one of those things, if we ever go again! Most
people don't know that I was on a game show, once. It was a short-lived
Food Network show, called, "Trivia Unwrapped." I said "Fritatta" when I
should have said, "Focaccia." I still have half a case of Zours candy in
my garage, as a consolation prize. I used to LOVE pizza but I suddenly
have severe adult-onset food allergies, so I have to be very careful with
the foods I eat. I am allergic to Tree Nuts, Fish, and Mustard (MUSTARD?
Yeah, Mustard). It's not just the yellow stuff in the squeeze bottle.
Mustard is in every salad dressing, in some types of mayonnaise and
ketchup, breads, and in nearly everything that lists "spices" under the
ingredients. Listen to Joyce every night on The Moose!!
