Two women were arrestedfollowing a drug raid in the Town of Lee.Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies report that members of the OneidaCounty Drug Enforcement Task Force along with the Oneida County Sheriff'sEmergency Response Team executed a search warrant on March 14th at aresidence on State Route 26 in the Town of Lee.Investigator's reportedly located a quantity of cocaine, drugparaphernalia, and two long guns inside the residence. 2 individuals that were located inside theresidence, identified as 19 year old Sharice Whaley of Canastota and 23 yearold Katie Burns of Frankfort were taken into custody and charged with criminal possessionof a controlled substance 3rd degree, which is a class B felony,criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th degree, which is aclass C felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7thdegree, which is a class A misdemeanor.Both women were arraigned in the Town of Lee Court and remanded to theOneida County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
