Lewis County Sheriff Deputies investigated a one vehicle property damage accident that occurred Thursday evening on Route 12 in the Town of Lowville. Police allege that 29 year old Gretchen Anderson of Glenfield was inattentive when she drove too close to a tractor that was in front of her vehicle. She had to swerve off the road to avoid striking the tractor. Anderson was treated at the scene and released. She was issued tickets for uninspected motor vehicle and following too closely. She will answer the charges in the Town of Lowville court. Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Lowville Fire Department and Lewis County Search and Rescue.
